If you'd like to report something you believe is a bug, please follow these guidelines when providing information:
- For crashes:
- Make sure you are using the latest version of the software you're using (this includes any add-ons you have installed); we also suggest you have the latest update of the OS installed. Please note that we cannot support nightly releases of Webkit as these change too often.
- try to narrow down what's causing the crash: if you have any other browser add-ons installed, try to disable/remove them temporarily and try again; if it only crashes with other add-ons installed, try to determine which combination causes the crash, and provide the list of add-ons
- please copy and paste the crash report generated
- please give a clear description of the problem (we cannot 'guess' if you're vague - "This <site> doesn't work." simply doesn't help)
- provide an example URL where the problem can be reproduced (without this we can't confirm your report!)
- provide the steps you followed that lead to the problem
- provide a list of any other browser add-ons you have installed (with version numbers)
- provide the settings you're using in the application/add-ons
Please understand that we need this information, and if it is not provided we simply cannot address the problem as there are too many possible settings and configurations to try in order to replicate the problem.
